A friend of mine sent me this post card recently. I thought it was hilarious. I love old pulp covers. This same author has another book called "THE BRIDE WORE BLACK" as if that's the worst thing ever.
My fave thing about this cover? The tag line, "The strange story of a girl who is both bride and widow and yet not either." That's pure awesomeness right there.
I posted a small color version and a larger black and white--couldn't find any large color ones on the internet (alas!). But the green color of the groom really needs to be seen, I think.
